An hour long theatre production written in poetry.
Best bitter was an hour long theatre production written entirely in verse supported by a grant from Arts Council England.
Welcome to The Meat & Tackle, just a standard pub to watch yet another woeful performance by a lacklustre England team in the world cup. But when the match doesn’t go to plan the audience begin to observe the individual stories and hidden personalities of the eight characters in the pub.
This is a show for lovers of theatre, poetry, drinking or football.
