Where do all the dead pigeons go? I could give you the answer right now...but it would ruin the show. Between you and me, I'm still not sure.
First Technician Darren Smith is the sole employee aboard Moon-base One. At first glance he seems to be doing a pretty fine job, but as the show unravels so does Darren’s grip on reality.
Pigeons is a story of friendship and loneliness, set on the dark side of the moon. There's a robot from Middlesbrough, live drawings, absurd, existential musings, and a lot of inspiration from Kurt Vonnegut and Arthur C Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey - it's funny and heartbreaking all at the same time. With felt tip pens and his ex-girlfriend's overhead projector from 1984, Scott Turnbull takes us on a a journey through space and time.
*Pigeons in the show are fictional and bear no relevance to pigeons alive or dead
