Trigger Warnings: Themes of depression, suicide and bullying

SA Performing Arts Centre as part of their final year showcase tackle one of Enda Walsh’s lesser known play – Chatroom, under the guidance and direction of Alphabetti Theatre’s artistic director Ali Pritchard.

It’s 2004 and six teenage characters communicate only via the internet. Conversations range in subject from Britney Spears to Willy Wonka to — suicide. From this chilling premise is forged a funny, compelling and uplifting play that tackles the issues of teenage life head-on and with great understanding.

The play has previously been described as:

"An impressive number of themes... handled in commendably non-dogmatic style... A triumph." - London Evening Standard

"One of the most thrillingly enjoyable evenings I've had in the theatre" - Sunday Times

"Punchy, provocative" - The Independent

"Enda Walsh's Chatroom is a winner... This is a clever, funny, discomforting piece to make audiences of all ages think." - The Observer
