Friends! That time of year is fast approaching, and to see in the New Year and kiss this one goodbye, it is our honour to host your Alphabetti New Year's Eve.

As always, our bar will be free to drink in!

With music on the piano from Rob Griffiths and George Lewis.

But in the theatre:

Our headliners for the evening will be Velvoir!

Velvoir /vel-vwɑːr/

1. Four Deviant visionaries combined to deliver an unparalleled, hypnotic experience; an otherworldly cabaret sporting themes of existentialism and a pleasant death.

2. A North-East based trans-fronted, Art rock/psychedelic Band. Example: “The first time I saw Velvoir perform, it was the image of this pulsing artistic force of change that came to mind: violent, primal and unashamedly human.”

Supported by Our hosts for the evening, Bonnie and the Bonnettes.

Who will be performing numbers in between each act and - if you're lucky - may even choreograph something specific for each artist...

Bonnie and The Bonnettes are a theatre company based in the North East. Their work combines multiple genres and mediums. They aim to push perceptions and have a good time whilst doing it. We are inspired by queer/drag/alternative performance, gender, auto/biography, real interactions/stories, and music that makes your hips wiggle. Their work is loud, fun, and unapologetic.

 Rob Griffiths: - 7ish start

Rob Sauvage

When he's not playing and singing in the fab Sauvage - a group who take Indie and Psych, shake them over ice and set fire to the cocktail with a blowtorch - you may have seen Rob playing solo while he compères our open mic, Alphabetti Jam. We can't wait to have him back!

George Lewis- 8ish

46313340 489183974898346 3969413237434220544 o

George has just released his first single, 'Made For Each Other', and will be bringing his combination of heartfelt vocals and delicate riffs to the Alphabetti piano for the first time.

And then Post-midnight we'll be back in the bar, with George Lewis returning for some Jukebox Piano, where you can request your favourite singalong classics for us all to belt out around the piano, to welcome in the NEW YEAR!
