Alphabetti Theatre are continuing to put the safety of customers, staff and artists at the forefront of our policies.
Face coverings are no longer mandatory but are encouraged. We are now selling to full capacity for all performances. If you or someone you have been in close proximity with has Covid-19 symptoms please do not visit the theatre.

Song of The Goblins has been co-created by an award-winning professional creative team and pupils from Hotspur Primary School. The pupils have co-written the script, co-composed the music, co-designed and co-built the set, and much more!

About Hotspur Primary School
Hotspur is a mixed, state school based in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, and currently has 431 pupils (ranging from 3 to 11 years old).
The school is a unique and inclusive learning environment and takes in children from a variety of diverse backgrounds. The school was graded ‘Good’ in a recent Ofsted inspection (2018) and is part of The Ouseburn Learning Trust (OLT), a charitable company of seven schools and six partner organisations in the East End of the city.
The number of children receiving Pupil Premium is above average at 43.6%. The school’s diversity and success within the arts creates an environment in which innovative risk-taking and dynamic project are able to flourish. A collaboration project with Alphabetti Theatre will allow Hotspur to build upon the school’s creative culture with the aim of developing a meaningful cultural capital for all those involved. As a school Hotspur understands the benefits of pupil voice within cultural projects, it empowers children and inspires future contributors to the cultural sector.
