The Female GazeThe Female Gaze Magazine in partnership with Alphabetti Theatre are looking for 2 women actors to take part in a week of research and development from Monday 9th-Saturday 14th July.

The Female Gaze is a play currently consisting of 10 monologues written by North East women writers which each look at a different woman who has directed, written for, acted in, or written about film from the late 1800s until today. The week of R&D will enable a selection of the monologues to be worked on by director, Karen Traynor, and writer Sarah Gonnet, so that Sarah can then create a script for a full scale production in 2019.

Casting: 1 black woman - playing age of 40+
