Jen Stevens is an award winning songwriter, pianist, musical director and passionate live performer based in the North East of England.

Often compared to the likes of Kate Bush and Tori Amos, Jen is no stranger to laying her soul bare and wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Modest in her achievements, Jen Stevens is a prevalent and prolific performer around the North East of England, and has regularly frequented live music venues all over the country. The calibre of acts Jen has worked alongside(including Mark Knopfler, John Miles, Paul Weller and Jools Holland) speaks volumes about the quality of her music, her high level of professionalism, and really reflects how strong her work ethic is. As well as writing, recording and performing her own material, Jen is no stranger to taking to the stage as a musical theatre performer, as well as undertaking the role of Musical Director for many shows in and around theNorth East.

Having played the piano for over 30 years and worked as a professional musician for almost 20 years, Jen’s work has been described as ‘Incredibly powerful and moving songs, with heart-wrenching lyrics, and an inimitably beautiful voice.’

Her 2021 single 'We Do It Right' hit number 1 in the iTunes songwriter charts, and her most recent release, 'Neptune’s Daughter,' was reviewed in NARC magazine as‘a profound and compelling masterpiece of song.’
