Taliraw's Farewell UK Gig!
Taliraw is a Czech cellist, singer/rapper, songwriter, and composer. After moving to Newcastle in 2020, Taliraw formed a band and released her second EP 'English Weather'. This EP became an international affair with inputs from musicians based in Australia, Ireland and the UK and her songs were repeatedly aired on BBC Introducing. This year she released her third EP Delicate Concrete, which was produced and recorded all by herself. The genre Tali performs now with brilliant pianist Dan Wright (The Porcelain), could be described as a mixture of hip-hop, spoken word and art-pop, with jazz inflections, aided by her cello work.
