Legacy by Adam Robson

To his annoyance, Dr Zachery Jacobs is dubbed the ‘mad scientist’ by the scientific community. In a quest to prove himself, he joins forces with the sensible but frustrated historian, Professor Melissa Grove, to create a phone to call the past. However, as Zachery’s nickname may suggest, this doesn’t go exactly to plan. With Willliam Shakespeare popping up in present day London, enjoying what every tourist does in London … taking in the sights and, of course, watching some theatre. A unique experience for both the poster boy of British theatre and our bumbling academics. This is a comedic, yet heartfelt, chaotic love letter to an icon of theatre, as well as an exploration of legacy and the impact our lives have long after we are gone.
