Rapping and performing since she was a teenager, 22 year-old Kay Greyson has gained a reputation in Newcastle as the hardest working artist there is. Period.

Outside of music, she has a passion for writing in all of its forms and has recently shown a real interest in theatre. She has worked with Unfolding Theatre Company and Brash Theatre Company. In April 2021, she was commissioned to create a short audio play called Empty Room directed by Jonluke McKie, which was part of Alphabetti’s 'Listen In' performance that reopened the theatre.

Working with Alphabetti again this time on a reaction piece is going to be an exciting and fun step for Kay as she develops and showcases herself as a passionate writer working alongside very talented and knowledgeable mentor Louie Ingham.
