Venture deep into Alphabetti where we will gather the lost, drawn like moths towards a flame. The Church of Jim is a place of salvation. It is a place of immersive alternative-comedy. It is not a place of misinformation or misselling of PPI. The Church of Jim is a riotous warm cuddle; a party wrapped up in the guise of cult worship. The Church of Jim is like Vic and Bob on acid.
Set in a absurd dystopia in which the audience are the newest members of an illicit cult, this is a story of a community coming together to bring hope to a hopeless world.
After hugely popular performances in Sheffield, Bristol, London and Edinburgh, 'A New Congregation' will be a special evening in which the Newcastle congregation will be birthed, featuring a cabaret of performance, Church antics, and the most ridiculous afterparty you've ever been do. Will we all survive the evening? Probably yes.
